SANCTUARY INNERWEAR – SUSTAINABLE NIGHTGOWNS AND LOUNGEWEAR

Why We’re Elevating Sanctuary Innerwear

Anna makes all of the Sanctuary Innerwear collections with Tencel Fabric from Lenzing. This is a closed loop production system that creates soft and breathable fabric from Eucalyptus wood. She also creates her own dyes from her plants.
"I hope to demonstrate that clothing can be made sustainably, and even positively impact people and planet." Anna Luckai - Founder

Why is Sustainable Fabric Manufacturing Important?

We spoke with Anna at length about sustainable fabric manufacturing in our episode on EnvironMental Podcast, but the fashion industry as it stands is bad for the environment. Bloomberg says that the industry accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions. It adds hundreds of millions of tons of plastic to the environment every year and it’s one of the largest waste streams in the world – both in production and consumption.

It’s vital for the transition to a sustainable future that we look to people like Anna for a lesson in how to make sure that fabric production and dying processes are as eco-friendly as possible.

The Sanctuary Innerwear Brand Story

Founder, Anna Luckai created Sanctuary Innerwear to give you the opportunity to bring the goodness of plants into your day from the moment you wake up. To say this brand is a labor of love is an understatement. She hand designs and makes every piece of clothing herself and she keeps the supply chain short, verified, and completely transparent. Many brands claim to be sustainable. This one truly is. Your clothing should help you stay well. This line actually does.
